  • UV Paint @ ChaShaMa Gala

    We had an awesome time in our UV Party Room…the walls were painted, our models were glowing and painted and many guests throughout the night joined in the fun!
  • Museum Mile

    Once again, we set up shop in front of the iconic Guggenheim Museum and expanded people’s minds with live, beautiful body painting. The human body is art!
  • Bushwick Block Party

    It was a great time making art with 3 great HCA models. We did our part to spread positive, loving and creative energy. The crowd in Bushwick shared their surprise, support and sometimes disapproval. A great day!
  • Open House Weekend

    It was great to share our art center with friends both old and new. We continue to build the human connection and our upstate space.
  • Human Canvas ‘Ice Cream Man’

    Our Human Canvas Painting was awesome. We even had some warm weather, so we took some photos at Madison Square Garden. Thanks to Alex for her collaborating on the painting. As always, the painting was a one-of-a-kind! The name of this piece is “Ice Cream Man”.
  • Human Canvas ‘Together’

    The 2nd consecutive painting was a lot of fun. I went to town, adding colors everywhere. We had a great bonding experience. The name of this piece is “Together”.
  • Human Canvas Retreat

    Be a part of a one-of-a-kind Human Canvas Painting taking place in my art studio at the Human Connection Arts Center in the beautiful Catskill Mountains.
  • Potluck Holiday Party

    It was great to see everyone at our Potluck Party. We connected with friends, played some connection activities and ate great food…looking forward to a great year ahead.
  • NYC Halloween Parade

    This year’s Halloween Parade was amazing with temperatures over 80 degrees! All of the painting took place in the public streets and then we rode our float through the crowds. Once again, DJ John Rovito provided the tunes. It was a blast! See you next year!
  • Open Mic with Guy Grizzly

    Our 1st Open Mic was a lot of fun. Host Guy Grizzly played many songs with his soulful lyrics. Performances included live music, storytelling and poetry. The day was enjoyed by dozens of local friends and neighbors. We look forward to more performances at the Amphitheater!
  • Bodypainting Retreat #3

    People travel far and wide to immerse in nature, art, play and connection with bodypainting, photos and improv in the woods, yoga, massage, sound baths, BBQ, sharing stories around a campfire, black light bodypainting…& more!
  • Live Music & Art Party

    The debut of our new amphitheater was great! We were treated to a live performance by singer/songwriter Guy Grizzly. Earlier in the afternoon families and artists picnicked and painted canvases, rocks and faces to the tunes of DJ John Rovito.
  • Artist Residency

    Our Artist Residencies are for painters, sculptors, poets, or anyone seeking an inspiring environment to create and connect with others. Artists will have access to 12 acres of beautiful woods, a pond, a studio, and each other. The week-long residency period culminates with our Live Music & Art Party.
  • Meteor Shower Campout

    Experience the natural wonder of the Perseids Meteor Shower under the pitch black skies of upstate NY. Camp out at our retreat space and sculpture park. Breakfast included.
  • Bodypainting Retreat #1

    Our 1st Bodypainting Retreat was an amazing time. This clothing optional retreat started off with body painting and a photoshoot in nature, followed by healthy BBQs and brunches, morning yoga and strolls, campfires, drum circles and more! But most of all it was about connecting with our fellow human beings.

    Painting in front of Guggenheim for museum mile was amazing! Everyone loved it, we supported freedom, body acceptance and made amazing art – see you again next year!
  • Sugar Hill Art Festival

    Our 2nd Annual Sugar Hill Art Festival was a heartwarming success! Our featured artists created beautiful canvas paintings and chalk art drawings and once again the music was great! But this year the community came out much more to paint, draw and Jackie Robinson Park was filled with art and art appreciation.

  • Crete Bodypainting Day

    Crete Bodypainting Day was a blast! Over 20 people traveled to Greece to make art together, enjoying the natural beauty and adding some of our own. With the hot sun on us, we were able to cool down with a quick dip into the ocean.
  • NYC Halloween Parade

    Riding the HCA float at the 50th NYC Halloween Parade was amazing as always. This year, all of the paintings were black and white, making for a great group mosaic. This year was a particularly cold one, but dancing to the music of DJ, John Rovito kept us warm. Looking forward to returning next year.

Painting Kamali

It was an honor to paint Kamali to celebrate life and the beauty of the human body. We also took advantage of the moment to raise awareness about ovarian cancer and the importance of early detection.

The 10th NYC Bodypainting Day Was Amazing!

NYC Bodypainting Day was epic! One of the very best in terms of great art, huge crowds and major press coverage. I’m sure you know that after 10 years we’ve retired the event. But not to worry, HCA will continue on with new, cutting edge, artistic, connecting events!
